Michael Overstreet

Michael practices in life what he preaches intellectually. There is deep symbiosis between his community engagements and his scholarly pursuits: his dissertation proposes an ecocritical paradigm of sustainable death care as part of a larger practice of sustainable agriculture in modern and contemporary French cultural productions. Michael is unique in that he practices living scholarship that is both epistemological and ethical, critical and creative.
