Full-Time Off-Grounds Status

A student completing degree requirements, pursuing research, or writing a dissertation or thesis away from Grounds for an entire semester may apply for the Full-time, Off-grounds status by submitting this form. Students must enroll in twelve credits of non-topical research for each term in which they are off-grounds.  Students maintain access to healthcare, library services and all NetBadge but will not have access to other University services such as the gym, busses or sporting event tickets.  The student must indicate an off-grounds location for the duration of their enrollment.  If the student will be in an international location, they are required to register with the International Studies Office as well.
